Quality.

We are here to laugh at the odds and live our lives so well that death will tremble to take us.
Some time last week a Pastor in St. Louis left a note on her receipt in response to an automatic 18% gratuity for her Applebee’s server. The note read “I give God 10% why do you get 18?” (Or something to that effect.)

The pastor then preceded to leave her waitress $0 instead and played the victim when her notorious receipt when viral.

Luckily, not all pastors share her sentiments and I was given this note today during my morning shift.

It’s tough to rebuke an individual who uses God as an excuse to tip less, but I have to say that I know personally how badly it feels to get a horrible tip for no reason.

I’m not going to judge this lady because she thinks church is more important than the service industry. I will, however, judge her for her lack of compassion and consideration to help someone who was doing her a service.

I understand that tithing 10% is a standard at most Christian churches, which is fine, but take into consideration that God isn’t using your tithe to pay his rent.

If you don’t want to tip, go to Jack In The Box. They stay open late.
